"Ludo stands
out to us, as a great example of what the
Bullmastiff should be"
Ludo stood out
to us from the moment he was born and he
continues to hold our eyes and our hearts.
Ludo at just 15 months and first weekend out
(winning 3 of the 4 shows on the weekend of
our 2011 BFC National show) achieved his
Canadian Championship, with a bang beating
his father Danier's "General" record.
Ludo will continue to be shown on limited
bases while he matures in 2012.

Ludo is a
great combination of strength and
well-proportioned of both his parents.
He has his mother's deep red color, dark
eyes with lots of black mask. He is very
symmetrical in looks coming in at 26 1/4
inches tall and weighs between 126 to
130 pounds. He has a large head, strong
back skull and muzzle, very square on
square appearance with a wide jaw and
slightly undershot. Ludo has a good
spring of ribs, great depth and moderate
width of chest (as he continues to
mature so does his width of chest). Ludo
has the powerful, clean, well balanced
movement, with strong reach and drive
that both his parents are known for.
Ludo has
his father's fun playful, aim to please,
silly attitude, and his mother's confidence,
stability and gentleness. To know Ludo
personality is to love him. He is always
anxious to meet others and has a special
love for the little ones in the world, be it
children, little dogs, puppies or even cats.
His personality allows you to do anything
with him as is shown in the picture where he
was dressed up for our local parade as a
knight in shining armour for a 4 year old
princess (on one of the hottest days of the
year this summer of 2011). Ludo is a
dependable companion and very athletic and
intelligent and we hope to have him in both
the obedience and the rally ring in his
future.
Ludo was
aptly named after the loveable, red, large
character in the movie the Labyrinth. Ludo
has been pre-limed on his Hips and Elbows
(Excellent). Thyroid & Heart, Vet checked
and Blood and Urine screened for Kidney and
Bleeding disorders. He is available for stud
to approved bitches. Please contact us for
further information if interested.

"Sarge is
another outstanding boy out of Danier's Gina
and General pairings."
Sarge has
always been a intelligent, playful, easy
going dog with lots of strength and
endurance. He loves to please people and
interact with others. Sarge is on the upper
end of our standard coming in at 27 inches
high and weighing in his fit shape around
130 to133 pounds.
Sarge has lots of bone,
powerful, with good depth of chest and width
of chest. Sarge's
head takes after his mother, Gina with lots
of cheek and back skull. He has a very large
square head with a wide muzzle and short
stop. Sarge also has a nice wide upper and
bottom jaw and is slightly undershot. He has
a clean, well muscled neck leading down to
his well angled shoulders.
Sarge is a lovely
shade of red and is still darkening with
each year. He is a fast moving, heavier on
his feet dog that can last and last. His
size seems to be more of a bonus then a
hindrance when it comes to his movement
Sarge is
available at stud to approved females.

"General is a
fine example of the results of the planned
bringing together of two
long-established kennels (Danier & Tru Grit)
that complimented each other well in
phenotype"
The thought in
creating this litter at that time was to
take a line that I had created and been
working with for almost 20 years and bring
something new to it while still keeping all
the things we most treasured about it. This
is why I made the decision to use Primo.
Primo was the perfect phenotype stud dog to
complement our girl Babe and yet still keep
what we loved about our lines. Some of our
favorite girls have originated from these
lines, Bridget, Tia, Visa, Bria, Brooke,
Babe, Polly. Our plan is to use General and
is git to keep on creating the type of
happy, healthy Bullmastiffs we at Danier
think best represent the breed and our
kennel.
General stood
out in my eye since the day he was born and
was obvious to me to be pick of the litter.
His personality, his structure, movement and
temperament stood out that little bit more
then all of his litter mates. I wasn't
looking to add another boy to our home but I
believe that I was guided by the powers to
be to find a way to keep this boy and we did.
We have never regretted that decision.
General is a
moderate dog in structure, middle of the
standard in height with a lovely correct
headpiece, strong back-skull, excellent
topline and correct moderate angulation.
General has matured into a well
natural-muscled dog that weighs in around
135 pounds. It is no surprise this boy moves
like a dream out of such sound and well
moving parents as Babe and Primo. General
has a wonderful "life is fun"
temperament and we are still waiting for him
to figure out he is not a puppy anymore. He
turns inside out for anyone and brings a
wagging tail, a big silly grin, a song and
toys to everyone he meets. He is as smart as
a whip and is anxious to please. General
loves to run, play, fetch and to go boating
but is not that fond of swimming. His energy,
strength, endurance and temperament are
amazing and are a compliment to his parents.
General was
shown States side, as a young dog early in
2009 and began and finished his American
Championship in just 2 weekends, including
once beating his mature sire "Primo"
for Best of Breed. Late in 2009 and early
2010 General was shown sateside again, to
represent Danier Kennels and his father,
Primo. General was shown by his buddy and
handler Katie Martin. Together, as a team
they had fun and did extremely well with
General ending up in the top 25 for 2010,
even though we had decided to bring him home
and end his show career (stateside) in March
2010. Shortly after his return, we could add
Canadian Champion as well, to the list of
General's accomplishments.
General
will make the odd appearance in the show
ring with his handler and friend Sue
Muir but mostly he enjoys being the man
about the house. General is enjoying
watching some of his kids grow, mature
and show and we look forward to his
contribution to the Danier Breeding
program.
General
is
available at stud to approved females.
